CSUR is proud to announce the release of its new publication entitled "Canadian Water Regulations Applicable to Hydraulic Fracturing Operations."

The document was prepared by the Society's Regulatory Committee, which is comprised of representatives from over twelve of our member organizations.  This timely and relevant information covers all aspects of Canadian water regulations as it relates to the development of unconventional resources and specifically hydraulic fracturing operations.  Issues such sourcing, usage, disposal, reporting requirements, water quality specifications and data are all included.  In addition, all Canadian jurisdictions (provincial, territorial and federal) are covered.

We believe this material, along with the associated industry and government links, will provide valuable information to all stakeholders with an interest in the stringent regulatory framework that exists in Canada related to water usage associated with unconventional resource development.
